• I strongly agree with Frank Chimero's statement 'People ignore design that ignores people.' As designers we have an important role to play in improving the way everyday occurrences have an impact on people's lives; whether it is a brand that perfectly captures the essence of a company or a beautiful wayfinding system that effortlessly guides people to their destination. I am a multidisciplinary designer who believes in fully understanding the client's need before designing the best solution for them. I enjoy the challenge that comes with designing a great idea because I understand that this is where amazing design starts. In 2012 I received my Bachelor of Design with First Class Honors from Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand. This four year, internationally recognised degree, has given me the opportunity to be awarded membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers, complete a number of freelance projects and undertake multiple design internships. Most recently I had the privilege of working with the Environmental Design team at Frost* Design in Sydney, gaining a huge amount of experience over a three month period. I am now keen to extend my ability as a designer, working with a group of like-minded people at a well recognised design studio.
